A life around an open space.
The courtyard between two volumes is the starting point of this study. The weight of stone, the warmth of timber and the transparency of glass establish different thresholds between inside and out.
The building finds its character in what it leaves open as much as in its solid surfaces. The courtyard welcomes light while proposing a sheltered outdoor space for everyday life.
